Ginger (अदरक)

Intensely aromatic, peppery and warming ginger procured very fresh from our Y&G sensible farmers. Use it to add brightness, heat and aromatic lift across cuisines, drinks and preserves. Peel sparingly with a spoon to retain flesh and flavor; grate for fast release, thinly slice for milder infusion, julienne for stir-fries, and mince for sauces or marinades. Use young (baby) ginger raw or thin-sliced—tender, less fibrous, with a cleaner, floral flavor. Grated with garlic and scallion as the aromatic base; adds freshness and cuts oiliness in stir-fry dishes. Chopped or grated ginger with onions and spices in curries and stews deepens complexity and balances fat. Steep slices in hot water alone or with lemon and honey for a warming digestive tea.
